Shad are the all time fun fish
to catch. With the warm weather beginning the fish show up by the
thousands and provide a great sport from May thru July. Fishing for Shad
is fun for everyone. Fly fishing for shad is incredibly effective. John
will provide you with first hand casting knowledge, techniques, best
fly’s and show you the water for these fish. This is a great opportunity
to learn the art of fly fishing. John will get you hooked on a fish even
if you’ve never caste at all! Half day morning or evening trips are
popular, as are the full day Yuba river jet boat trips. Shad dates get
